Pandemic? War? Recession? Inflation? Freedom of speech? No more excuses.

It’s Time to Think was born in times of uncertainty with one goal: to cut through the noise, promote free thinking, and make the search for TRUTH fashionable again.

It’s Time to Think is a cultural movement that aims to change society by creating free spaces.

  • What it is IT'S TIME TO THINK?
A cultural movement searching for answers to big questions about ourselves and how we act in the world. We want to clear the way for a free-thinking movement that can change the world and help young people step out of the noise, pause, reflect, and develop FREE thinking.
  • What is a Thinktalk?
The name says it all. A Thinktalk is an event where four things happen: you reflect, you share your opinion, you drink beer, and you meet interesting people. There are some special features that make a Thinktalk unique: A stage with a lightbulb, a round carpet, and a speaker just a few steps away from the audience. Let the knowledge flow. Timer: The speaker has 18 minutes to get us thinking — no more! Once the timer runs out, the debate begins. No chairs! Everyone sits on the floor, close to the speaker, who remains standing. We imagine this is what Socrates’ gatherings in ancient Greece felt like. Laughter: They say humor is the best way to connect with others. It’s important to pause and reflect — but once that’s done, it’s time to have fun. There’s dinner, wine, beer, music, and great company (and no, we don’t charge a euro for it).
  • How did it start?
It’s Time to Think was launched in March 2020 with the goal of creating digital spaces where young people could step back and reflect. After the pandemic, the project moved from the screen to real life in 2022. This gave rise to a new cultural movement, with local communities in more than 15 cities dedicated to developing critical thinking. Now, we enjoy everything offline much more than online. You can learn more about our story here.
  • How can I find out about upcoming Thinkglaos in my city?
Thinktalks currently take place in 2 countries (Germany and Spain) and in more than 15 cities. All Thinkglaos are posted on this website. In addition, there are cities where we have groups you can join HERE.
  • How can I inspire more people to think?
ITTT is a community. And as a community, it is built and continues to grow with the help of many people. If you want to organize a Thinktalk in your city, join one of our organizing teams, or simply help out once, you can write to us using this link.
